Mom and I live together.  When I first started the business, she was not sure it was a good idea.  In fact, she thought it was a terrible idea.  I ran the business by myself for a year.  Then we became too busy for one person, and Mom came out of retirement to help me.  She started out helping with the packing and now is active in all parts of the business except computer work.  She leaves that all to me and Kathy!  We  work hard, but we have fun while we work.  We all love the beads, but we all love different beads.  My favorite are the millifiori and the copper/sterling.  Mom loves anything with a flower on it and the Czech fire polish   Kathy adores the sterling.  Emmy follows me around while I pull the orders - I guess she's part of the quality assurance program.

We still run the business in our basement.  But now we have rented warehouse facilities to hold the majority of our inventory.  I make daily trips to storage to pick up our in-house shortages.  I truly love working out of the house.  It gives me a great deal of time flexibility.  We answer the phones from 9 am to 9 pm Eastern Standard Time.  Evenings you may catch us watching TV or reading a book while we wait for your phone calls!

We believe in giving back to the community.  While we recognize that there are many worthwhile charities, we chose to pick one charity close to home.   All of our bead donations are made to the Baltimore City schools for use in art classes.  We give 10% of the sales price of the pink ribbon rosaries to the American Cancer Society and an equal portion of the yellow ribbons' gross goes to www.anysoldier.com

Shipping Schedule:

Your order will normally ship the day after we receive payment.  We'll let you know if there's a delay.

Shipping Charges:

Shipping is calculated per weight of items ordered.    We normally ship domestic orders via  USPS First Class, Priority Mail or  DHL and international orders via USPS.  The shopping cart can calculate domestic DHL shipping fees.   Feel free to ask for a calculated shipping charge for USPS before finalizing your order.    Minimum shipping fee is 5.50 per order.

Sales Taxes:

Maryland residents must add 6% sales tax or send a copy of their sales tax license.

Types of Payment Accepted:

Checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery  or PayPal.  We do NOT ship COD.

Return Policy:

You can return your items for a full refund if you email us within 3 days of receipt . All items must be returned in original condition  within 7 days of notification.  Shipping charges are not refunded.  We refund your money the same way you paid us.
If you had received a quantity discount on an item and your return brings you under the quantity threshold, you will lose the discount on the items you kept.
While we are glad to allow  you to exchange one item for another, we do charge  shipping to send you the new item.  Our minimum shipping charge is 5.50
