My name is Sandra J. Paluzzi and I am The Bead Peddler
®. I started this business in September, 2000 and we're here to stay! This is my third start up. I have been running successful business since 1988. In addition to our website, we now do local bead shows. Our schedule is listed on our home page. My mom works with me and helps run the business.Mom and I live together. When I first started the business, she was not sure it was a good idea. In fact, she thought it was a terrible idea. I ran the business by myself for a year. Then we became too busy for one person, and Mom came out of retirement to help me. She started out helping with the packing and now is active in all parts of the business except computer work. She leaves that all to me! We work hard, but we have fun while we work. We love the beads, but we love different beads. My favorite are the Chinese lampwork. Mom loves anything with a flower on it and the Czech fire polish My dog, Emmy Sue follows me around while I pull the orders - I guess she's part of the quality assurance program. The quality of our photos has improved with the addition of Kathy. She also works bead shows with me.
I
still run the business in my basement. But now I have rented warehouse facilities to hold the majority of our inventory. I make daily trips to storage to pick up our in-house shortages. I truly love working out of the house. It gives me a great deal of time flexibility. We answer the phones from 9 am to 9 pm Eastern Standard Time. Evenings you may catch us watching TV or reading a book while we wait for your phone calls!We all love talking to our customers. Over half of our current inventory items have been stocked based on customer suggestions or advance orders. Your voice counts here - you can help us define our stock and find your elusive beads.
We believe in giving back to the community. We regularly donate money to the American Cancer Society and also to NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness. At the current time, we are offering bead kits to any non-profit. The non-profit must pay for the shipping costs, but we don't charge anything for the kits.
Your order will normally ship the day after we receive payment. We'll let you know if there's a delay.
Shipping is calculated per weight of items ordered. We normally ship all orders via the United States Post Office. We offer free priority mail shipping on all domestic orders over 50.00. We have a minimum shipping fee is 5.50 per order on our smaller orders.
Maryland residents must add 6% sales tax or send a copy of their sales tax license.
Checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery or PayPal. We do NOT ship COD.
You
can return your items for a full refund if you email us within 3
days of receipt . All items must be returned in original condition
within 7 days of notification. Shipping charges are not refunded.
We refund your money the same way you paid us.
If you had
received a quantity discount on an item and your return brings
you under the quantity threshold, you will lose the discount on
the items you kept.
While we are glad to allow you to
exchange one item for another, we do charge shipping to send
you the new item. Our minimum shipping charge is 5.50
We do NOT ship samples.
We do NOT have a showroom or store front. All of our business is done by mail order or at local bead shows.
We value your privacy and keep all of your information company confidential. Our mailing lists are not shared with anyone in any way.
